sponsor a project
There are hundreds of Landcare projects across Queensland that require both financial and in-kind support. Landcare Queensland facilitates the development of partnerships between corporate organisations and businesses, the community and the government to help support these vital sustainability initiatives.

Landcare partners become part of a forward thinking team working together to rebuild and protect our natural landscapes and place themselves in a position to improve their economic, environmental and social outcomes.

To find out more about becoming a Landcare or Coastcare supporter and build a strategic and sustainable partnership that will reflect your organisations objectives contact Landcare Queensland to discuss opportunities and ideas.

become a member

Please help us to continue to produce resources for landcare groups and volunteers by becoming a member of Landcare Queensland. Your membership allows us to continue to support landcare work around the state. We do this by providing:

  • a free monthly bulletin with up to date information about grants, resources, training, and promotional opportunities;
  • free training and capacity development to community groups around Queensland focusing on partnership development, grant writing, and fundraising; and
  • direct support to Landcare networks to help build direct links between community groups and local businesses who might support their work.

We receive no government funding for our work. So, our membership program is crucial to our ongoing involvement in supporting the community and helping them access the resources they need to get the job done.

So what are you waiting for!  Support us today by downloading a membership form, or follow the link below.

corporate environmental volunteering

Landcare Queensland can facilitate the development of Corporate Environmental Volunteering programs and one off volunteering days for your organisation. There are a range of activities that corporate volunteers can become involved in and with over 300 landcare groups in Queensland a location and host group to suit your needs can be arranged.

Corporate environmental volunteering is a great way for organisations to contribute to their local community and can also act as a team building exercise, allowing employees to ‘get their hands dirty’ on-site and come away from the experience with a better understanding of their local environment.

Many companies and businesses don’t realise the costs involved with hosting a volunteering activity and with landcare groups receiving little or no funding it is important to consider the costs incurred by these volunteer groups when organising and supervising a corporate environmental volunteering day. A fee will be negotiated with your organisation and the host landcare group and will contribute towards covering the cost of site preparation, purchase of materials (trees, fertiliser, water etc.), tools and equipment hire or purchase, site supervision, on-going site maintenance and refreshments if required.

To find out more about corporate employee volunteering contact Landcare Queensland to discuss opportunities in your local area.

leave a legacy

Your bequest will make a lasting contribution to the Queensland landscape.  Our landcare groups work with farmers, government agencies and community volunteers to bring about significant changes to the way land and water are managed in urban and rural Queensland.

We focus on practical approaches to the environment and believe that people learn best by getting their hands dirty.
