Join us for this Junior Landcare celebration, being held concurrently with the 2011 Queensland Landcare Conference. Local students will join members of the general public and the children of conference delegates to learn more about landcare and participate in hands-on learning activities.
The two day event will include a field trip and a hands-on learning day. The field trip will involve a visit to Plantation Creek where our junior landcarers will help plant the 68 trees of the Burdekin before moving on to other sites.
The hands-on learning day will include presentations, displays and fun activities for all ages and will be held directly adjacent to the conference venue, the Burdekin Theatre.
