An extraordinary event for students and teachers from around the world.  The International Youth Coastal Conference is the culmination of a process.  Students prepare 40 minute workshops to present to their peers at the conference on a marine or coastal topic, relevant to their local area. This process involves students working with expert mentors many months prior to the event, and results in children who are motivated, capable public speakers, with self esteem and respect for others. Ultimately, this conference is about protecting and enhancing our marine and coastal environments, communities and industries through education and involvement of the next generation of leaders.  Contact Cathy on coastal@fire-starter.com.au or register interest at www.onelifeoneworldourfuture.com/coastal/
